This paper shows a statistic anallsys on breast cancer cases treated at Hospital Amaral Carvalho, Jaú, S.P., Brazil, between 1987 and 1990. Also, we review the breast cancer incidence by age group, histologic type and clinical period. We mention the high incidence of advanced breast cancer in old women. Finaily, we do suggestions on early diagnosis, preventive medicine for women to reduce of breast cancer incidence.
