Abstract

The Vaterpapilla adenoma isa rarepremalign lesion, with a few cases described in the medical literature. lts management is confroversial and can be conservative or endoscopic local surgical excision, or radical duodenopancreatectomy. The authors presente a case of Vater papilla adenoma, a lesion that was an incidental endoscopic finding in a patient with a gastric adenocarcinoma. The lesion was treated by local surgical excision and papil!asphincteroplasty associated to enlarged subtotal gastrectomy for the treatment of the gastric lesion.
