The authors present acase of chondrosarcoma of the nasal septum treated with radical resection after recurrence that occured 2 years after incomplete removal. The authors call attention to: a) rarity of the lesion —this case is the 9th described; b) diagnostic challenge and, c) hazard to the patient if initial treatment was not adequate.
