Abstract

A case of bilateral Wilms' tumor In an one-year-old infant is reported. The right kidney tumor had the classical histological pattem of Wilms' tumor with only 10 % of embryonal striated fibers. The left kidney one appeared months laterand was composed almost exclusively by embryonic striated muscle tissue. The child is now 10-year-old and is living well with only two-thirds of her left kidney.
