Abstract

Antimicrobial susceptibility of 47 strains of Serratia from immunossupresed patients, was studied by using disk sensitivity. Most of the strains were resistant to ampicillin, carbenicillin and chloramphenicol. Cephalotin was active only against 26% of the strains. Among the tested drugs, amikacin, tobramycin, gentamicin and colistin were active against the tested strains.
