The authors after a brief historical summary upon the matter, describe 10 cases treated in the National Cancer Service, all of wich fullfilled the characteristics required by Ewing for giving to a certain etiological factor its proper value. They also describe in detail the histological examinations performed, calling the attention upon the small percentage of metastases and the greater frequency of well ditferentiated spindle cell carcinomas comparing with the other types. They finish the article proposing methods to be followed to prevett cancer of scars.
