Glucagonomas e a síndrome relacionada a esta patologia são criticamente revistos e atualizados. Os autores apresentam um caso de síndrome de glucagonoma com primário pancreático metastático para fígado, e com uma única metástase cerebral, na qual estudos imuno-histoquímicos confirmaram a presença de glucagon, e cuja ressecção levou à regressão da doença por período superior a quinze meses. Este relato pode ser o primeiro com um caso bem documentado de glucagonoma com metástase cerebral, já que a revisão de literatura não demonstrou outro semelhante.
