The authors report actions developed hy the Oncology Hospital Cancer Registry, set up in April, 1993, in order to collect and analyse documents and scientific reports on health care procedures performed at thefacility, as to quantity, quality and proportions. The purpose of this paper is to assess functional problems and barriers, so that the board of the institution, along with administrative personnel and clinical staff, may solve them promptly.
