Twenty-five patients were considered suitable for assessment among 51 included in the study which used chemotherapy with cis-platinum, mitomycina-C and bleomicine in the outpatient department. The patients had not undergone any previous treatrnent. The results obtained were as follows: 4% of complete response, 64% of partial response, 20% of estable disease and 12% of no response. Survival in cases which presented an objetive response (CR +PR) was of 8.2 months, which is the sarne found in the group which did not show a satisfactory response (DS+AR). Survival in a group of historical control whích had undergone only radiotherapy and/or surgery was of 8.8 months. The difference was not significative.
