Abstract

The present study was carried out to demonstrate the efficacy of aspirative cytology in diagnosis and management of breast tumors. It is a simple, safe, and painless procedure offering positive results in 78% to 85% of the cases. We conclude that aspirative cytology is a very important diagnostic tool in breast cancer.
