Apreciação sobre a Eficácia da Colpocitologia

Abstract

122 patients are studied under the point of view of the importance of colpocytology in detection and prevention of gynecological findings as compared with colpocytology. All cases were suspect or confirmed as cancer after colpocytology and histopathology. Patients were aiso selected in accordance with their different tumor types and localization; under this point of view, efficiency of colpocytology is evaluated in percent figures. In conclusion, colpocytology has a high efficiency as a very helpfui method in detection, prevention and diagnosis of genital cancer. This statement is true even if the cytologic team has not a very high technical levei or uniformity in its methods.
