The Minimum Modulus of a Laboratory of Cytology is presented in this work. The described laboratorial sectors have in view an adequate functioning of the same. Besides the personnel composition on both levels, tecnical and administrative, it emphasizes the mechanism of quality control, and the necessary requirements to credit a laboratory as an institution of medical services.
