The A. studies some 20 cases, all considered to have no therapeutical, surgical or radiotherapical habilities. He studies the technique of intra-arterial injections (internal mammary) where the sub clavicular emerges in two different procedures: one simple dose, during the surgical act. and repeated dosis. each 6 hours, (through) a plastic catheter. Heparin is given to the patient during the repeated doses period. As chemotherapy agent, nitrogen mustard was used. Pos operative control is made (through) clinical observations and by the neoplasic cells (curve). It was observed that after 21 or 23 has there is a slow dinishing of the number of circulating cells. By this method, survey of 3 years (1 case). 2 years (4 cases), was made, but a large majointy only showed transitory improvement. Is isn’t possible to each a definite conclusion. due to few cases we have. but we shall insist in a large series, in order to be able evaluate intra-arterial chemotherapy in mammary cancer.
