The author uses and proposes a contralateral mamoplasty (Pitanguy Technique) for patients with breast cancer as a complement to mastectomy. As the contralateral breast is a high risk spot, the proposed approach provides a generous sample ot tissue for pathologic examination without detormation of the contralateral breast.
