Histone fractions from normal rat liver has shown quantitative variations when compared to those extract from Ehrlich ascitis tumor cells. The fx fractions is percentually increased in Ehrlich tumor, while fractions f2 and f3 are increased in the normal liver. Possible implications of these findings in the regulation of cell dlvision are discussed.
