Dois Casos de Câncer do Pênis em Indígenas

The author studied carcinoma of penis presenting cases with histological confirmation among the indians from the tribus Gavião and Caiapó. Both cases were admitted at the Department of Câncer — Institute Ofir Loiola —1964-1965. The patients underwent radical surgery with good survival rate up to the present moment. The author recalls the circunstance of being the first repport in the brasilian literature and emphazises the necessity of several measures from the medical and social stand point of view and thereby a better knowledge on the subject.
