Breast cancer is a global public health concern affecting millions of individuals every year, but it can be quite singular for the LGBTQIA+ population who deals with unique health challenges. Due to its relevance and paucity of studies on breast cancer for this population, this opinion article aims to emphasize the importance of an inclusive approach for breast cancer treatment and prevention, addressing existing disparities and suggesting consistent strategies to promote health equity, as health inequities, specific risk factors, psychosocial challenges, awareness and education campaigns and inclusion in clinical trials.
