Abstract

This article deals with the risks to the security of patient data and other information from public and private health systems that increased with the use of artificial intelligence (AI), mainly the generative type. The objective is to alert to the absence of active communication and the regulatory vacuum in the world involving the application of AI in the health field, especially in oncology. The chosen methodology was a national and international literature review involving research in AI aimed at health with or without regulatory suggestions. The article concludes with a warning about the need for social and governmental intervention in the use of AI in oncology due to the lack of transparency in its implementation.
