Resumo

Descreve-se um caso de carcinoma espínocelular originado em teratoma cístico de ovário, discutindo-se seus aspectos clínicos, histopatológicos e terapêuticos. A paciente, de 49 anos, apresentava quadro de dor e tumor abdominais e o tratamento consistiu em uma histerectomia total abdominal com salpíngooforectomia bilateral e omentectomia. O estádio clínico final foi 1A e, após cinco anos de seguimento, não há sinais de recidiva.
