A squamous cell carcinoma developing in dermoid cyst of the ovary is related, its clinical picture, and a discussion of histopathology and therapeutic aspects is presented. A 49 years-old White woman complaining of abdominal pain-ful mass was seen. The treatment was a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingoophorectomy and omental resection. The final stage was 1A and after five years of follow-up, no recurrence was identified.
