Análise dos Fatores Relacionados à Incidência de Infecções Urinárias em Pacientes com Câncer

A infecção urinária adquirida no hospital está entre as mais comuns de todas as infecções hospitalares. Na maioria dos hospitais gerais ela ocupa o primeiro lugar em incidência. Dados de diversos hospitais têm mostrado que 30 a 40% de todas as infecções hospitalares envolvem o trato urinário. No INCA, hospital em que a maioria das doentes é portadora de doença maligna, essa incidência é de 19%.'*Com a finalidade de uma análise dos fatores relacionados com sua incidência em nosso Hospital, as infecções urinárias foram estudadas no período de junho de 1981 a junho de 1982.
