Abstract

The author review updates in the treatment of primitive and metastatic hepatic lesions where the surgical resection can’t be do it immediately. In these cases some options have been used by manipulating the vascular System to increase the effect of chemotherapic drugs and to control blood suppiy as a isquemic therapy. In this issue we show: The ways forhis execution, the indications, prognostic factors, staging and the toxicity control during the treatment. We report a case of multidisciplinary approach and the analysis of several protocols developed by many authors of the world medical centers in attempt to increase the quality and quantity of patienfs life span.
