Some recent aspects of bone biopsy are discussed. Primary or secondary neopiastic bone lesions shouId be submitted to percutaneous bi'opsies. Outpatient techniques of biopsy are considered after 209 cases with different types of needies. Good resuits were shown as to accuracy, absence of pain, and amount of tissue materiais obtai'ned by percutaneous technique. The method was particularly useful in reducing the indication of surgical amputations.
