Abstract

In order to evaluate the isodose curves furnished by the manufacturer with "Eldorado 78" Telecobait unit, measurements of the percentage depth dose in the central ray and beam profile at 5cm depth were done. The experimental values of the percentage depth dose and from isodose curves furnished by the manufacturer were compared with those values published by British Journal of Radiology Suplement 11 and a desagreement was found in some cases. The experimental values beam profile were compared with those obtained from isodose curves furnished by the manufacturer. A table of percentage depth dose were made from the experimental values for clinical use.
