The authors present a study of 13 patients with lymphoepithelioma of the rhinopharynx, attended at the Departamento de Cirurgia da Cabeça e Pescoço da Fundação Antonio Prudente, São Paulo, Brasil. The authors point out the principal symptons of this neoplasia, beside the high capacity of hematogenic and lymphatic dissemination. Finally, is established the importance of chemo-radiotherapic association in the therapy of this tumor.
