Resumo

O estesíoneuroblastoma (neuroblastoma olfatório) é um tumor raro do epitélio olfatório. Seu curso clínico habitual é caracterizado por crescimento lento e pela tendência a recidivar localmente. Neste relato é apresentado um caso de estesíoneuroblastoma em uma adolescente de 13 anos de idade, cujas características principais foram o sítio incomum de localização do tumor primário em nasofaringe, seu curso clínico rapidamente progressivo e dificuldade diagnostica. Nosso objetivo é chamar atenção para a existência desta neoplasia incomum e discutir seus aspectos mais relevantes, baseados em ampla revisão da literatura.
