Estesioneuroblastoma. Relato de caso em nasofaringe e revisão da literatura

The esthesioneuroblastoma (olfactory neurobiastoma) is a rare tumor of olfactory epithelium. The clinical behaviour is marked by a slow growth and the tendency to recurr locally. In this paper we present a case report of a 13-year-old girl with esthesioneuroblastoma, in which the main aspects are the unusual site of primary tumor (nasopharinx), na aggressive clinical behaviour, and the diagnostic challenge imposed by tumor histology. Our objective is take a look at this uncommon malignant neoplasm and discuss the most important clinical, pathologic, and radiologic aspects based in current literatura review.
