Pendural infusion of analgesic agents is a very popular method for pain control, mainly oncologic patients. However, the evaluation of the advantages and risks of this method in our country is necessary. The authors present an educative program for patients and relatives involved in the control of pain by pendural infusion of nercotics in an out patients regimen and the results of treatment of 27 cases so treated. The data about the efficiency and complications of the method is exaustivelly examined.
