Abstract

The giant condyloma acuminatum (Buschke-Loewenstein tumour) is characterized by clinical malignancy in the face of histologic benignity. A case of a giant acuminate condyloma of vulvarand anorectal localization is described, with malignant transformation for invasive squamous cell carcinoma. The patient was treated by preoperative irradiation and extensive local resection with favorable results. The authors made a review of etiopathogenic and anatomopathologic factors and the therapeutic possibilities os this exceptional entity.
