CureAll Brasil: Agenda Estratégica para Fortalecer el Sistema Único de Salud y Promover la Equidad en la Atención del Cáncer Infantil

El cáncer infantil y juvenil constituye un importante marcador del desempeño de los sistemas de salud, dada su complejidad y dependencia de diagnóstico oportuno y cuidado continuo. Este editorial discute el papel estratégico del CureAll Framework, de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, como modelo para el fortalecimiento de los sistemas de salud y la reducción de desigualdades en la sobrevida. A la luz de evidencias recientes, incluyendo el número especial del The Lancet (2026), se analizan los avances globales y los desafíos persistentes relacionados con la equidad en el cuidado oncológico pediátrico. En el contexto brasileño, se destacan el relanzamiento del CureAll Brasil e iniciativas como el proyecto OncoBrasil, que señalan los avances en la organización de la red de atención en el Sistema Único de Salud (SUS). El editorial enfatiza además la importancia de los registros de cáncer y de los sistemas de información como elementos centrales para el monitoreo de la sobrevida y la formulación de políticas públicas basadas en evidencias. Se concluye que el CureAll Brasil representa una agenda estratégica para el fortalecimiento del SUS y para la promoción de la equidad en el cuidado al cáncer infantil y juvenil.
