Abstract

Carcinoma of the female urethra is an ominous lesion whose prognosis and treatment depend on the stage of the neoplasm and involved site of the urethra. The authors beiieve that the best treatment is radiotherapy for initial tumours and radiotherapy plus radical surgery for advanced cases.
